7 Delicious recipes to try out while staying in Dorm

Natsuki Arita

The past year has brought with it an unfortunate standstill, throwing a big fat wrench into our university lives in more ways than one. But on the bright side, it’s also given us the time to delve into new hobbies like plant collecting, hiking, crafts, and most importantly (at least for me), getting elbow-deep in the kitchen.

This week we interviewed a bunch of you guys on campus about your sex life. After a few more discussions, we got to know a bit more about your sex life. In order to grant these people anonymity, we have changed their name. Besides, all the sexual acts discussed were consensual.

HKU B ACTIVE REVIEW

Brandon Lee

After the Hong Kong government lifted some social distancing measures, gyms could finally reopen. As usual, I went to the CSE website to book a time for the gym session. Though I was delighted that I could finally get back to the gym grind, I was still unsatisfied with the lack of options HKU provided. Then, I saw a name I’ve never seen before: HKU B-Active. A new gym?

Review:

Little bao

Located in Fashion Walk, one of Hong Kong’ famous brunch hotspots, Little Bao surrounds itself with other hipster café’s such as Elephant Grounds and Lady M. However, the restaurant differentiates itself with its unique take on Asian cuisine with a Western twist.

Sustainability:

The Great Living Lab of HKU

Natsuki Arita

HKU has long been an advocate of sustainability;

leading as an example of how sustainable living is a

permanent and continuous development, rather than a fleeting glimpse of “carbon-free living” at the cost of a world-wide standstill.

Matthew Pryor, Head of the Division of Landscape Architecture and an Associate professor within HKU’s Faculty of Architecture, believes that “The University is a microcosm of society, we would be leading the way,” he says, “We should be showing people how to do it.”

Eye on

the virus

In a push forward, Chris and his friends initiated a new photography project with the goal of urging people to raise awareness of the virus, stop working and suspend classes. He distributed leaflets at the University and began his project.

Models were invited, the darkroom was set. After one-week preparation, ninety-two photos captured and over a hundred hours of editing work, “2020: ONE HEART” came out.
